Summer at Cawley Hall
An exciting range of events is coming to our community over the coming months. We have two live events coming up shortly: with Katie Doherty and The Navigators coming to us on May 15th via Arts Alive, Rain or Shine Theatre Company returning for a performance of Charles Dickens' The Pickwick Papers on June 6th, and Hamnet coming on the 13th of June via Flicks in the Sticks.

Yet that is not all, as on the 25th of July, a Coffee Morning is being organised after the success of our recent Easter Community Meal, and as we move into September and beyond, we are already looking forward to more Flicks in the Sticks as well as additional Live Events currently being organised through Arts Alive.

Throughout, our community continues to organise various clubs and activities. We encourage our community to check out our hall's Bulletin Boards, whilst our website undergoes some light renovations to match the season, and to have an up-to-date digital bulletin board where our clubs and upcoming events can all be viewed from the comfort of your own home.

Finally, behind the scenes, it isn't just our website receiving some TLC. The hall's kitchen floors have recently been replaced and repaired, alongside new reflective tape to make our entrance's bollards easier to see during the darker months. We wish to ensure we have a balanced budget, and thus are ensuring we maintain our 'rainy day fund', but as we continue to raise money for the hall, we are looking to the future for further updates and repairs to our road-facing notice board, but with priorities to repair a tile at the entrance, repair our guttering and the fascia boards in the kitchen.

If YOU would like to get involved with our community, we are planning an upcoming AGM on the 29th of October, which anyone and everyone is welcome to attend. Furthermore, if you'd like to get in touch, send us an email or give us a call on our website's contact page.

As a small personal note, with upcoming updates to the website, I am looking for local pictures of the Hall and the surrounding countryside for seasonal pictures that I would love to have displayed and used on the website.
