About The Event
In 2005 a hoard of silver and gold artefacts dating from the Viking era was found in Eye. The find was not declared and was effectively stolen to be sold by the finders.
Archaeologist Tim Hoverd reveals the contents of the hoard, its place in history, and gives us a glimpse into the complex investigations taking place to recover the hoard.
